Mindwellness Trust sincerely appreciates every act of generosity extended to us. This Refund Policy sets out the circumstances under which a refund may be considered and the process for requesting one.

General Position on Refunds
All donations to Mindwellness Trust are voluntary, unconditional contributions. As a general principle, donations are non-refundable once processed, as funds are committed to patient support and operations.
However, we handle every request with fairness and empathy. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Trust.

Circumstances for Consideration
a) Technical or Payment Errors
Donation processed more than once due to technical error
Incorrect amount charged due to gateway failure
Transaction debited but donation not recorded by Trust
b) Unauthorised
Donations made without the account holder’s knowledge or consent (subject to verification).
c) Exceptional
Any other situation determined by the Trust to warrant a refund in the interest of fairness.
Note: Change of mind or requests after 80G receipt issuance are generally not eligible for refunds.

How to Request a Refund
Contact us within 7 days of the transaction. Please provide:
Full name used for donation
Email & Phone number provided
Razorpay Payment ID / Ref number
Transaction date and amount
Detailed reason for the request

Review Process
Upon receiving your request, we will acknowledge it within 3 working days. A final decision will be communicated within 10–15 working days after consultation with our finance team.

Refund Processing
Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment source within 7–10 working days. Note that already issued 80G receipts must be cancelled before the refund can be processed.

Recurring Donations
For recurring subscriptions, please refer to our Cancellation Policy. Past payments are reviewed under the standard terms of this Refund Policy.
