MINDWELLNESS TRUST
Healing Minds. Restoring Hope One Life at a Time.
We believe that mental health
treatment is a right — not a privilege.
MindWellness Trust works to make life-changing psychiatric care accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.
“Treatment is a right, not a privilege. We are here to bridge the gap.”
About the Trust
MindWellness Trust was founded with a single belief: that no one should be denied life-saving or life-changing mental health treatment because of financial barriers. Mental illness does not discriminate, and neither should access to care. We exist to bridge the gap between those in desperate need of treatment and the resources required to heal. Our mission is simple yet profound — to restore dignity, hope, and health for individuals battling severe psychiatric conditions.
Our Mission & Vision
Our Purpose & Future
We are dedicated to ensuring that mental health care is accessible to all, bridging the gap between need and resources.
Our Mission
At the heart of our work are the patients and families who walk the most difficult of paths — those who face each day under the weight of mental illness, often without the resources to access the care that could change everything. Our donors, medical partners, and supporters walk alongside them on that path, making healing not just a vision, but a reality.
Our Vision
Our vision is a future where advanced mental health treatments such as ECT, Deep TMS, and other neurostimulation treatments are available to all, regardless of financial means. We aspire to create a mental health ecosystem where patients, families, medical professionals, and donors walk together on the path of healing.
Our Impact Areas
What We Do
We implement systemic solutions to address the most critical gaps in India's mental healthcare system.
Infrastructure Upgrade
Thanks to our CSR and individual donors, we've strengthened psychiatric care at partner facilities with multiparameter monitors and HeartStart Defibrillator-Monitors, bringing hospital infrastructure up to world-class standards.
Ambulance Services
Mental health emergencies are as urgent as cardiac emergencies. Our partner hospitals now have ICU-ready ambulances equipped with monitors, defibrillators, oxygen, and trained personnel to ensure timely, safe transport and prevent complications.
Direct Patient Support
We provide direct financial support by connecting patients in need of advanced psychiatric care with willing donors. Each sponsorship is transparent, with clear cost schedules and audit reports shared with full patient consent, ensuring dignity and accountability.
Breaking the Silence Around Mental Health
Mental health is shrouded in stigma and silence. Through donor support, we built a digital resource hub spreading accurate, evidence-based information — accessible to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Community awareness programmes with CSR partners
- Patient-friendly guides on psychiatric treatments
- Myth-busting resources on ECT, TMS & advanced therapies
- Support for families navigating the mental health system
“Knowledge is the first step towards healing. We are breaking the silence.”
SUPPORT US
Your Support Changes Lives
Adopt a Patient
Donors can cover the entire cost of treatment for one patient. This includes hospital stay, advanced therapies, and rehabilitation. Donors receive transparent audits and updates, while patients and families experience this support as a complete lifeline — turning despair into recovery.
Shared Support Model
In this three-way model, donors, partner hospitals, and families share the financial responsibility. Donors contribute part of the treatment cost, partner facilities offer subsidised services, and families contribute what they can. This ensures dignity for patients while making treatment financially sustainable.
Resource & Knowledge Support
Beyond direct treatment and equipment, donors can help build a comprehensive mental health knowledge ecosystem. This approach is highly sustainable, cost-effective, and has long-lasting impact. By supporting information, awareness, and caregiver empowerment, donors play a direct role in shaping a more informed, stigma-free society.
Other Ways to Give
In addition to adopting patients or supporting treatment costs, donors may also choose to contribute towards specific impact initiatives.
- Awareness Campaigns
- Mental Health Scholarships
- Community Programmes
- Recovery & Rehabilitation Activities
