Mind Wellness Trust channels donations into four core areas that directly improve psychiatric care for underserved patients.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Infrastructure Upgrade
Donations have equipped partner hospitals with life-saving technology
PHILIPS GOLDWAY GS20 MULTIPARAMETER MONITORS
Multiparameter Monitors — continuous vital-sign monitoring for psychiatric ICUs
HEARTSTART XL DEFIBRILLATOR-MONITORS
Defibrillator-Monitors — defibrillation and pacing capabilities
DEEP TMS (MAGVENTURE H-COIL SYSTEMS)
Targeted neurostimulation for treatment-resistant depression, OCD, and related conditions
Every device is selected for its direct clinical value, in consultation with psychiatrists and hospital administrators. Our goal is a regional network of well-equipped psychiatric centres where no patient is denied care for want of the right tools.
Ambulance Services
Psychiatric emergencies demand the same urgency as any medical crisis. We support ICU-ready ambulances equipped with multiparameter monitors, defibrillators, and oxygen delivery systems, staffed by personnel trained in both clinical emergency response and compassionate psychiatric care. This extends the reach of treatment beyond hospital walls and into the critical moments when it is needed most.
Body Composition Monitoring —
InBody 350
Patients with serious psychiatric illnesses face significantly elevated risks of metabolic syndrome. Long-term use of antipsychotic medications can lead to weight gain, raised cholesterol, and high blood pressure.
The InBody 350 is a medical-grade analyser that measures key metabolic parameters — including body fat percentage, muscle mass, and visceral fat — quickly and non-invasively to help identify risks early.
Early detection allows psychiatrists to intervene promptly through medication review or dietary counselling. This represents a meaningful step toward treating not just the mind, but the whole person.
Free for eligible patients in Ahmedabad
Available for patients receiving depot injections and ECT treatments at our unit.
Direct Patient Support
We identify individuals in acute need of advanced psychiatric treatment and connect them with sponsors willing to fund their care. Each sponsorship is governed by transparent cost schedules and audit reports, shared with the patient’s informed consent — ensuring dignity for patients and full accountability for donors.
