Symptoms of anxiety disorder
- Palpitations

- GI symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea

What is panic disorder?
The main difference between panic disorder and anxiety is the presence of panic attacks. A panic attack is an episode triggered by some event leading to an overwhelming combination of physical and psychological symptoms.
Characteristics
- Triggered by an event that is stressful
- Lasts from 5 seconds to 30 minutes. Can also last upto hours in which case a medical.
- intervention is required
- Signs are the same as GAD but more intense and severe
